Modified El Paso Method VOC Stripping Apparatus
- Single Column
- Dual Column
The Modified El Paso Method utilizes a dynamic or flow-through system for stripping volatile organic compounds from a continuous supply of water using counter-current air flow. The resultant off-gases are analyzed for VOCs using a common flame ionization detector (FID) analyzer. The sampling location is critical. It must be on the cooling water return line before the water is exposed to the atmosphere to prevent VOC loss.
LDAR Solutions can supply you with an approved VOC Stripping Apparatus for monitoring low VOC concentrations in water. Our apparatus complies with government specifications and is built on an extremely durable 3/4" polypropylene board to ensure a long life in harsh industrial environments.
